Qualifications

Our Founder, Anabel has 10 years of experience in acute, community, rehabilitation, and aged care settings, specialising in adult neurology and complex airway management. After starting her career in North Queensland and furthering her expertise at the Royal London Hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic, she is now back in her hometown of Tamworth, where she provides personalised speech pathology services, leveraging the latest evidence and technology to enhance client outcomes and quality of life.

Qualifications

Sarah hails from the UK, and brings with her extensive critical care experience, including her training at the Royal London Hospital in acute intensive care, neurosurgery, and trauma. Her exceptional dedication was particularly evident during the COVID-19 crisis, where she played a key role in innovating medical care in London’s ICU; now, she aims to specialise in community care, providing personalised services to our local community.

Qualifications

Erin relocated from Newcastle after completing her studies last year. During her placement here at ASK, Erin quickly demonstrated a strong clinical skillset and a genuine passion for working in regional communities. She thrived in the rural setting and enjoyed our rural and remote outreach so much that she chose to return and support the communities we serve.

Erin works with both adult and paediatric clients, bringing a wonderful balance of energy and calm to her therapy sessions. Her thoughtful approach and warm personality help clients feel comfortable and supported as they work towards their communication goals.

Qualifications

Bridie is our Senior Paediatric Speech Pathologist and a valuable member of our team. She completed her bachelor degree in Sydney, and then masters in Queensland.  

She brings extensive experience from busy private practice in Sydney, alongside pivotal work within Catholic Education Queensland, where she contributed to advancing speech, language, and literacy support for school-aged children across educational settings.

Now based on her family farm in Manilla, Bridie leads our paediatric outreach services, delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to regional and remote communities. Her approach is practical, family-centred, and grounded, ensuring therapy is meaningful, achievable, and embedded into everyday life.

Qualifications

Anna is joining us as an AHA while completing her final year of a Master of Speech Pathology.

Born and raised in the UK, Anna completed a First-Class Honours degree in Physiology at The University of Manchester, followed by a Masters in Research at The University of Sydney. Her academic and professional experience brings a unique and highly valuable perspective to client care, alongside her interest in neurodiversity, passion for neuro-affirming practice and holistic care.

Anna relocated to Gunnedah with her husband and 4-year-old daughter. She is humble, unassuming and incredibly approachable, yet certainly won’t shy away from sharing her experience and skills when it can benefit the people and community around her. She’s a wonderful example of the hidden gems that exist within our rural communities.

Having volunteered alongside Bridie, she is already a familiar face to many of our Gunnedah clients. She’ll be based in Gunnedah, while also occasionally supporting clients from our Tamworth office.

Qualifications

Steph is the backbone of our day-to-day operations at ASK Healthcare. She ensures everything runs seamlessly behind the scenes so our clinicians can focus on delivering high-quality care.

Steph manages scheduling, bookings, client communication, and service agreements, keeping everyone connected and informed. She also has her medical practice assistant (MPA), which is very helpful in our FEES clinic. Her attention to detail, organisation, and warm approach help create a smooth, supportive experience for both our clients and team.
