FEES Assessment
We are the only private Speech Pathologists in the New England North West region qualified to perform FEES Assessments in the community.
We are passionate about bringing the most innovative care to our region, which is why we undertook the FEES Certification Course through Sydney Swallowing Diagnostics this year. We have the equipment and certifications to deliver nasendoscopy and FEES assessments for our clients, in a space that is most comfortable to them.
What is FEES?
Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) Assessment, is a leading method for assessing swallowing disorders. The assessment involves the use of a camera to look inside a client’s swallowing tracts while also assessing muscle and sensory function in real-time as they swallow. The assessment can be conducted using real food, fluids, or medications, giving us a clear view of what’s happening within. We can also test strategies and positions right on the spot, ensuring we have a comprehensive understanding to inform their intervention plan.
Our goal is to ease some of the pressure felt by health professionals in our region, and our ability to offer FEES is part of how we are doing that.

Nursing Services
In addition to our speech pathology services, we have a range of nursing services available to our clients. These services are available to our private clients, and our NDIS plan or self-managed participants.
We can help with:
- Complex care: stoma care, enteral feeding (PEG + NGT) and complex airways management
- Continence management
- Medication administration and management
- Wound care
- Respiratory and ventilator support
- Diabetes Management
- Health assessments
- Rehabilitation support
- In-home respite services
- Equipment and technology: recommendations and assistance.
- Education and training: clients and their care teams and loved ones regarding health tasks related to their disability.
How we can work together
Mobile Service
We are a mobile service, which means we have the flexibility to undertake your therapy wherever is most comfortable to you. We also can travel to rural and remote communities outside of Tamworth.
Telehealth
We can also provide Telehealth services for review appointments, or to provide additional education or support to our clients that are based outside of our travel locations.
